Let’s make an impact together… “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller
VSNFirst is a brand created to lead and inspire this generation of Dreamers. While in pursuit of chasing our dreams we need to keep the wellbeing of others at the forefront. That is why VSNFirst has a mission of finding a way to help the homeless and less financially fortunate sustain themselves. Currently in the pursuit of this mission we providing meals to the homeless as well as record their stories and post them on our socials in hopes of reaching a wider audience that can help them .As a brand we yearn to create an impact that creates a movement of giving back to those in need.
Although the formula to success requires hard work, it is not the sole factor that determines one’s success in life. There are many other factors outside of our control that must align for success to be realized. For some, the difference between optimization and stagnation is having unwavering supporters in your corner, who help bridge that gap and help you reach your full potential. As a brand, we aim to take on the world full force and address these social inequalities head first. According to The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), public schools identified 1,180,886 housing insecure students during the 2019-2020 school year. The Children’s Law Center of California states that “on any given day, there are nearly 437,000 children in foster care in the United States”. Through the VSNFirst foundation, we plan on utilizing 5% of all profits to directly impact these statistics. We will run our first need drive towards the end of the 2023 school year, isolating our efforts to the housing insecure students of the University of Missouri and the Columbia Missouri area. The drive will consist of helping these students fund meals, clothes, school supplies, and unmet summer needs. As VSNFirst grows, we will expand our reach to all of the United States through scholarships, essential needs drives, food drives, and education centers.
